What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy?
I found that it was interesting to hear the background and how Maniakalani came about. Having an understanding of the ideas behind the pedagogy has given me deeper reason and purpose for teaching using Learn, Create, Share.
What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional?
I loved learning tips and tricks that can make my drive more efficient place to work. There were simple tricks such as removing names from the bookmarks bar to create more space and colour coding folders in my drive to make them easier to notice
What did I learn that could be used with my learners?
I am excited to try voice typing with my learners. I plan take the time to teach voice typing and to add the voice typing as a rotation in my literacy programme.
I also liked the use of commenting for questioning. I am planning to look further into how I can incorporate this into my learning programmes.
What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability, or workflow?
Hopefully by learning the tips and tricks to help with efficiency I will be able to organise my drives more efficiently, and hopefully assist in the work-life balance.

DeleteWe have had a go at voice recording and it is going well for most students. My next plan is to get some cups to see if that helps the chromebook to understand what the students are saying.
